COMPUTER EXPLORERS looks for instructors whom we train to use technology as a learning tool. They are essentially “resource teachers”—specialists who will teach technology in a variety of schools. The curriculum is based on a full scope and sequence of technology skills that meet and exceed the National Educational Technology Standards as written by the International Society for Technology in Educaton (ISTE).
Many teachers have decided that they want to be “teacher managers” who help guide the new CE instructors. Others have opted to develop new clients and programs in roles as CE “marketing managers.” And still others have found the teaching so rewarding that they broaden their instructional skills by working with new age groups – from the youngest preschoolers to senior citizens.
