Austin Woman Named Entrepreneur of the Month by International Organization
July 2008(Houston, Texas) - Kimberly Connor, Austin, was awarded “Business Owner of the Month” for July, 2008 by COMPUTER EXPLORERS (CE), a leading global technology education franchise. Connor received the award based upon her innovative contributions to both Texas education and the corporate program development.
‘Kim has actively participated in the COMPUTER EXPLORERS effort to align our CE engineering courses with the Texas math standards,’ reported Deb Evans, president and CEO of the company. ‘She attended the National Education Computing Consortium in San Antonio where she met with industry leaders, participated in workshops and experimented with new technology to assist us in determining the best educational products for our students.’
