Lisa Johnson is Teacher of the Month


Houston, Texas —- http://www.COMPUTEREXPLORERS.com  (CE), an international company dedicated to children’s technology education, recently named Lisa Johnson of Kerrville, Texas “Employee of the Month”.  Johnson, one of 600 CE instructors in the US, has been a teacher for over 4 years and has worked for the CE company for 18 months.
“Lisa is very innovative and a great asset to CE, ” said Deb Evans, President and CEO of COMPUTER EXPLORERS.  “She recently taught the CE team in Kerrville how to use Google documents. She pushes forward and continues to learn and share as her responsibilities increase’. 
Johnson has been delivering instruction in preschools and community sites and is has expanded her responsibilities to includes sales and marketing as a member of the education team headed by Kathy Patterson, local COMPUTER EXPLORERS business owner.  “I am eager to have Lisa take control of her new responsibilities and build the CE business utilizing her dynamic skill set. She represents the quality of our nationally acclaimed COMPUTER EXPLORERS program,” declares Patterson. 
Johnson graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Applied Learning & Development. Johnson has multiple teaching certificates ranging from Self-Contained Elementary, to all levels English, to Middle School Mathematics. She taught 7th grade Mathematics/Pre-Algebra four years. She recently received her Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a Specialization in Technology at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio in December 2009.
