MADISON, MS TECHNOLOGY EDUCATOR, RITA HANCOCK RECEIVES NATIONAL SERVICE AWARD


COMPUTER EXPLORERS (CE), an international company dedicated to children’s technology education, recently named Rita Hancock of Madison, MS “Employee of the Month.”  Hancock, one of 600 CE instructors in the US, has been a teacher for over nine years with CE.
“Rita has one of our largest enrollments in our preschool program, attributed to her outstanding mini-classes and demonstrations” said Deb Evans, President and CEO of COMPUTER EXPLORERS.  “She also teaches our school age program helping schools to integrate technology effectively.”
Hancock has been delivering instruction in preschools, private schools and community sites in Madison as a member of the education team headed by Helen Pinkerton, local COMPUTER EXPLORERS business owner.  “Rita Hancock is very detailed and strives to be well prepared for all her lessons. She goes over and beyond to bring outstanding lessons to her students”  declares Pinkerton.  “Rita thinks about CE ‘24/7’. She constantly asks for feedback from her center directors and Principals. Year after year I receive requests to have Rita return to their school.  She represents the quality of our nationally acclaimed COMPUTER EXPLORERS program!”
Hancock earned her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business Technology from Hinds Community College. She has been a past pre-school teacher and has worked in marketing and human resources for many years. She is active in the children’s ministry at both her church and her children’s schools. Hancock has also found time to be passionate about the Chrohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.
