Welcome! My name is Dawn Whalen. I am the local owner and educational director of COMPUTER EXPLORERS. We are proud to service Hartford County, CT including the towns of Avon, Berlin, Bloomfield, Bristol, Burlington, Canton, Farmington, Granby, Hartford, New Britain, Newington, Plainville, Simsbury, Southington, and West Hartford. We also service the towns of New Hartford and Harwinton in Litchfield County. COMPUTER EXPLORERS helps children excel and adults stay connected through our interactive technology education programs. Since 1985, COMPUTER EXPLORERS has offered a wide range of technology education programs to children, teens and adults through classes offered in childcare centers, preschools, elementary public and private schools, recreation centers and other educational settings. COMPUTER EXPLORERS programs are exciting, interactive, and customized to meet the needs of both students and educators.

Only twelve business owners in the US are authorized to offer the program at this time, and I am proud to be one of them!
COMPUTER EXPLORERS provides a complete technology program for grades K-8 based on a comprehensive scope and sequence. Our turn-key curriculum and lesson plans, using project-based learning and integrating your core curriculum, meet and exceed the National Educational Technology Standards.
