COMPUTER EXPLORERS provides technology education to children ages 3 and up at daycare centers, preschools, private and public schools, community centers, and park Districts. Since 1985, millions of children have benefited from COMPUTERTOTS and COMPUTER EXPLORERS classes offered in childcare centers, preschools, elementary private and public schools, and other educational settings.
Program Offerings Include: COMPUTERTOTS - Small group instruction for children 3-5 years old. Our program teaches the fundamentals of technology while reinforcing math and readiness skills. Students will have fun while working with laptops, digital cameras, graphic tablets, digital microscopes, and robots created just for pre-schoolers!
KINDERGARTEN ADVANTAGE - Designed for children ages 5-6, our classes integrate core curriculum into technology instruction so that your child acquires skills in basic computer usage, keyboarding, word processing, graphics, multimedia and spreadsheets.
AROUND THE WORLD - This program offers small group instruction for children ages 3-7 and a passport to learning and fun! The educational courses integrate technology skills and appreciation for languages and cultures through songs, art projects and interactive computer activities.
INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGY RESOURCE PROGRAM (ITRP) - Computer Lab instruction for children in grades K-8. ITRP integrates technology skills into core curriculum areas of language arts, social studies, science and math. This project-based learning program exceeds National Educational Technology Standards by combining technology applications and core curriculum content. Students learn basic computer usage, keyboarding, word processing, graphic design, multimedia, databases, spreadsheets, research (internet exploration) and website design.
TECHSTARS - TechStars courses are project-based activities designed to be fun and educational! Our elementary-aged students will discover robotics, engineering, programming, video production, and satelite navagation. Look for these fun programs at a local camp or recreational facility near you!
