I am the owner of COMPUTER EXPLORERS, the business has been successfully in operation in the Mid-Hudson Valley since 1991. Prior to CTCE I worked as an engineer in Microelectronics for 11 years. I have a BS in Imaging Science from Rochester Institute of Technology and a MS is Microelectronics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. While working as an engineer I was a volunteer mentor for local middle school students and encouraged them to consider careers in math and science. For 4 years I served on the board of my church preschool, including 3 years as the Chair of the Board. It is my belief that by working with young people we can truly make a difference in their lives. I am a resident of Fishkill where I live with with my wonderful husband and two boys. My goal is to use my love of technology to spark and interest in young people and introduce technology as fun and exciting! Working with educators in daycares, preschools, private and public schools, community centers, and recreation departments COMPUTER EXPLORERS can bring to life technology programs which inspire young minds and promote the love of learning! |

Hello! My name is Patricia and the children call me Miss Pat. I am very excited to be working with your child and helping him/her to develop and to use the computer as a learning tool. I have a BS in Elementary Education and am confident that my professional background and personality, combined with the COMPUTERTOTS curriculum and training will offer your child an exceptional program and help lay the groundwork for a lifetime of learning. I have been a resident of Beacon for over 20 years. Combining my love for children and my enthusiasm for teaching children with the COMPUTERTOTS methods has been very rewarding for me. In 2007 I began teaching Adult classes, introducing Seniors to computer basics, word processing, email and I hope to soon expand to digital photography, digital scrapbooking, genealogy, and photo restoration. |
